The time you become hoggish, and hope to get "lucky", is the time you lose all of your cash. Seems a bit abnormal, but it appears to be accurate. The only time I ever come away with cash is when I do not care about blowing it. I headed to the the casino the other evening with $20 in cash. I could not care any less about blowing it, who cares about twenty dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 profit in just two hours!

A different occassion I was at the casino with my friend Steve. I went in with one hundred dollars that I couldn’t afford to lose. I got hoggish, I got scared, and I ended up wagering too much and losing it in 30 minutes! The lesson my friends is never ever bet anymore than you can stand to lose. If you do not worry about squandering, you have a lot more opportunity of profiting big!

How else can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette other than making a budget? Never wager on single numbers! Sure, they come up occasionally, but they don’t hit often enough to ensure a steady profit. Only bet on even wagers e.g. red, black, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers e.g. first 12, second dozen, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay relatively big.

With the basics reviewed, how else can we further boost our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By making probability into our ally, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can not succeed at Roulette", my buddy Steve would say to me. "It is absolutely random due to the fact that any number might come up". Sure, my buddy Ben has a point, although at the same time, he is overlooking a crucial aspect of the picture. I totally agree, black or red could come up thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
