The time you become greedy, and pray to get "lucky", is the day you give away all of your cash. Sounds a bit strange, but it seems to be accurate. The only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t worry about losing it. I headed to the the casino the other evening with $20 in cash. I couldn’t care less about blowing it, I mean, what is $20? So guess what happened? I left with $120 profit in just one hour!
A different occassion I was at the casino with my buddy Chris. I took in 100 dollars that I couldn’t bear to lose. I got gluttonous, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and losing it in thirty mins! The lesson my friends is never ever bet anymore than you can manage to lose. If you do not care about losing, you have a lot more opportunity of winning big!
How else can you build up your chances of winning at Roulette besides setting a budget? Never wager on single numbers! Yes, they hit every once in a while, but they don’t come up often enough to ensure a constant profit. Just wager on 1:1 bets e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets like 1st 12, 2nd dozen, 3rd dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay out pretty big.
With the basic rules covered, how else can we further increase our odds of winning at Roulette? By shifting probability into our friend, instead of our enemy. "You can not win at Roulette", my friend Charles would say to me. "It is absolutely random because any number could come up". Sure, my friend Chris certainly has a point, although at the same time, he is overlooking an important part of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black could come up 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
