The day you become insatiable, and wish to get "lucky", is the day you give away all of your money. Seems a little absurd, but it seems to be real. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t worry about squandering it. I went to the the casino the other night with $20 in cash. I couldn’t care any less about losing it, who cares about 20 dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 profit in one hour!
Another time I was at the casino with my friend Matt. I took in one hundred dollars that I could not afford to squander. I got hoggish, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in 32 minutes! The lesson is never ever wager anymore than you can commit to squander. If you don’t care about not winning, you have a greater chance of succeeding big!
What other ways can you build up your chances of winning at Roulette other than making a budget? Never bet on single numbers! Sure, they come up occasionally, but they don’t come up enough to ensure a constant profit. Just bet on 1:1 bets like black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. 1st dozen, second 12, 3rd 12, etc Bet on odds that pay pretty high.
With the basic facts reviewed, how else can we additionally elevate our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By turning probability into our ally, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can not win at Roulette", my friend Ben would say to me. "It is completely arbitrary because any number could come up". Sure, my friend Bob does have a point, but at the same time, he is overlooking an important part of the picture. I totally agree, black or red can come up thirty times in a row, but how often does that happen?
