The time you become gluttonous, and hope to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your money. Seems a little absurd, but it appears to be accurate. It seems the only time I ever amass money is when I don’t panic about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino last night with twenty dollarsin my pocket. I couldn’t care less about squandering it, I mean, what is twenty dollars? So guess what happened? I left with one hundred and twenty dollars in profit in just two hours!

A different time I headed to the casino with my buddy Steve. I took in 100 dollars that I couldn’t afford to squander. I got greedy, I got worried, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in thirty minutes! The lesson is never ever bet more than you can afford to squander. If you do not worry about squandering, you have a greater opportunity of winning big!

What other ways can you increase your chances of succeeding at Roulette besides setting a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Sure, they hit occasionally, but they don’t come up often enough to ensure a steady profit. Just bet on 1:1 bets for example black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first 12, 2nd dozen, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay out pretty high.

With the basic rules covered, how else can we further increase our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By turning probability into our buddy, instead of our mortal enemy. "You cannot succeed at Roulette", my friend Matt would say to me. "It is completely random due to the fact that any number might come up". Sure, my friend Charles has a point, although at the same time, he is overlooking a crucial part of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black possibly could come up thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
