The time you become hoggish, and hope to get "lucky", is the time you give away all of your money. Seems a bit weird, but it seems to be real. It seems the only time I ever come away with cash is when I don’t panic about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other evening with twenty dollars. I could not care any less about losing it, I mean, what is $20? So guess what happened? I left with one hundred and twenty dollars profit in just 1 hour!

A different time I was at the casino with my friend Jeff. I took in $100 that I couldn’t bear to squander. I got gluttonous, I got scared, and I ended up betting too much and losing it in 30 minutes! The lesson my friends is do not bet anymore than you can manage to squander. If you do not care about not winning, you have a lot more chance of succeeding big!

What other ways can you improve your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than setting a budget? Never wager on single numbers! Yes, they hit every once in a while, but they do not come up enough to ensure a constant profit. Just bet on even wagers e.g. red, black, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets like first dozen, second 12, 3rd 12, etc Bet on odds that pay fairly high.

With the basic rules reviewed, how else might we additionally boost our chances of winning at Roulette? By making probability into our ally, instead of our enemy. "You cannot win at Roulette", my friend Chris would say to me. "It’s absolutely arbitrary due to the fact that any number might come up". Absolutely, my friend Matt certainly has a point, although at the same time, he is missing a significant part of the picture. I totally agree, black or red might hit 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
